The Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Srpska, with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska,
organizes the Conference “Green Economy – Driver of Sustainable Development of the Economy of the Republic of Srpska”, which will be held on
Thursday, 08/06/2023 in the hall of the SL Industry Hotel in Trebinje.
The aim of the Conference is to raise awareness of the importance of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency and green
economy, in order to utilize the overall potential of achievable energy-saving measures and inform the economy about the challenges arising from the introduction of a mechanism for taxing goods imported into the EU and during whose production a large amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) is released.
The Conference will consist of three panels, and the panelists will be experts in their fields, representatives of business
companies, as well as representatives of international donors who provide financial support in the field of green
economy and energy efficiency. This is an opportunity to present the experiences of domestic
companies in building solar power plants during the panel discussion. Entrepreneurs will also have the opportunity to learn about available sources of financing in this field. A lecture on the application of digital
solutions in the process of energy transition is also planned, which will be led by a recognized expert in the field of energy
management and energy efficiency in industry. Also, within the Conference and the European
Entrepreneurship Network program, bilateral talks of registered participants will be organized.
This event is a unique opportunity to exchange information, experiences and promote successful business examples
in the field of energy efficiency and green economy, as well as to establish useful contacts.
