On 30.01.2024, in the premises of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH, the electoral session of the Association of System Operators of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was held.
The Association of System Operators within the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH consists of authorized system operators for packaging and packaging waste management in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, namely: Ekopak d.o.o. Sarajevo and Eko život d.o.o. Tuzla, as well as authorized system operators for electronic and electrical waste management Kim Tec Eko d.o.o. Vitez and Zeos eko-sistem d.o.o. Sarajevo.
By unanimous decision for a four (4) year mandate, trust was given to:
» Jasmin Osmanović, Eko život d.o.o., President of the Association
» Elma Babić-Džihanić, Zeos eko-sistem d.o.o., Vice President of the Association
The President of the Chamber, Mr. Mirsad Jašarspahić, the former President of the Association, Ms. Amela Hrbat, Eko pak d.o.o., and those present congratulated the newly elected leadership.
Ms. Hrbat referred to the work of the Association so far, which has existed for 5 years, during which a number of educational workshops, promotional campaigns aimed at raising awareness, round tables, conferences and, most importantly, during which all authorized system operators achieved the set goals, were organized.
The newly elected leadership thanked them for the trust, where the President of the Association, Mr. Osmanović, stated: “The Association of System Operators of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will continue to be a reliable and efficient partner with the competent ministry and all other institutions and international organizations with the aim of creating a legal framework based on the EU acquis and the best European practices in packaging and packaging waste management, as well as electronic and electrical waste. “
The Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH congratulates the newly elected leadership of the Association of System Operators and wishes them as proactive a work and success as possible in it.
