In the period from 05 to 07 December 2023, organized by the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH, 4 companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina had the opportunity to present themselves in the best light at the international supplier fair “Global automotive components and suppliers Expo 2023 (GACS 2023)”. The fair featured 150+ exhibitors from over 30 world destinations. The fair was organized in three separate halls, each with a special theme. Companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina are appearing at this fair for the second time; their premiere appearance was back in 2019. The joint stand of Bosnia and Herzegovina was in hall no. 5 under number 5516, located together with other international pavilions and clusters. This year, the BiH delegation consisted of the companies: Eurosjaj d.o.o. Konjic, GS TMT d.o.o. Travnik, Plamingo d.o.o. Gračanica and Saraj-Komerc d.o.o. Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje.
The attendance at the Bosnian and Herzegovinian stand during all days of the fair was excellent, and special mention should be made of the presentations held on the main stage of the fair, both by the Automotive Industry Group and by each individual company participating in the fair on behalf of the BiH delegation. In this way, the companies presented their portfolio of products and services as well as future plans in terms of investment and development.
During the fair, discussions were held with many fair participants, both companies and visitors, and in this way information, assessments and trends regarding the direction in which the European and global automotive industry is moving were refreshed. During the fair, talks were also held with the fair organizer about participating in next year’s fair, and we were informed that the format and content of this and most fairs in Europe will change next year.
The Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH strongly supports and recommends the participation of companies from BiH in all international fairs, given that the automotive industry is in very challenging times, as are other industries, and fairs provide the opportunity to obtain the largest number of quality verified information in one place.
