From 03 to 07 July 2023, the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, together with partners, organized a visit to the University of Montpellier, with the aim of participating in the work of the Steering Committee of the PARTISH Project.
The aim of this project is to improve university studies and orientation towards lifelong learning in Bosnia and Herzegovina through the development of part-time and short studies and the development of a legal framework for introducing this type of study in order to support the different needs and interests of students, companies, higher education institutions (HEIs) in different cantons/entities in BiH, with recommendations for HEIs for the implementation of part-time and short studies throughout BiH.
Presentations of lifelong learning services were held, with an emphasis on short study cycles in France, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Sweden, Germany and Latvia.
Due to the topicality of the project theme, the previously planned duration of this Project was extended for another year, and on that occasion the members of the Project Steering Committee were re-elected.
An analysis of the implementation of planned activities under this Project was carried out, and planning of activities for the next year was undertaken with an emphasis on practical application and implementation of project activities with the active participation of Ministries, Universities and Chambers.
