Organized by the Business Association Biznis centar Jelah, Tešanj, the 19th International Economy Fair Tešanj 2025 was opened on 24/09/2025, bringing together more than 600 exhibitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, countries of the region and beyond. The fair is held on an area covering 26,000 square meters, and the central theme of the Fair is Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence. The fair runs from 24 to 27/09/2025 at the Kamelia – Matuzići site, Doboj Jug municipality. This year, the partner country of the Fair is the Kingdom of Spain, and the partner city is Travnik.
After the official opening ceremony of the Fair, a panel discussion was held on the topic: Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence, co-organized by the Federation of BiH Chamber of Economy/Commerce. The panel participants were eminent experts from various sectors of information technology, telecommunications and digital business.
All panelists are recognized professionals with rich experience and achievements in their fields: Amel Kovačević, CEO of BH Telecom, Semir Hrvić – Ma. Vice President of IT, Change Management, AS Holding Ltd., Edin Mehić – Co-founder & Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), Bloomteq, Blum Institut, Jasmin Marić – Association for Internet Trade „eComm“ in BiH, OLX.ba, Business Development, Davor Brigić – Information Systems of BH Pošta, Branislav Zimonjić – Senior Associate for IT, Ministry of Communications and Transport of BiH. The moderator of the central panel was Haris Alikadić, Bloomteq.
The panel presented how digital technologies and artificial intelligence shape business, improve processes and create new opportunities for the economy. Participants shared their experiences from the public, telecommunications, technology and e-commerce sectors, providing valuable insight into the challenges and perspectives of digital transformation in BiH.
On the second day of the fair, a ceremony was held for signing the Cooperation Agreement between P/G K FBiH and the Archives of the Federation of BiH. The Cooperation Agreement with the Archives of the Federation of BiH will focus on the development of joint activities of the Chamber and the Archives, with emphasis on education in this field, as well as projects for digitization of archival material.
The Federation of BiH Chamber of Economy/Commerce organized B2B meetings between BiH companies and companies from Turkey. More than 15 companies from Turkey, led by the Chamber of Commerce of Konya, visited the fair in Tešanj and held business meetings with the participating companies. This visit was realized at the invitation of P/G K FBiH, and during the visit the signing of a cooperation agreement between the two Chambers was also organized. The first activities under the agreement are reflected in the visit of BiH businesspeople to fairs of agricultural machinery and metal processing machinery, which will be realized in 2026.
At this year’s fair, the Government of the Federation of BiH and the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts supported the collective exhibition of SMEs at the stand of the Federation of BiH Chamber of Economy/Commerce. This is a unique opportunity for networking and establishing new business connections. The numerous meetings held during the first two days of the fair are an indicator of the great interest in the products and services of the exhibiting companies.
Tešanj 2025 Fair represents the pinnacle of business events in BiH, and is proof of the strength of the domestic economy, vision and continuity, and confirms Tešanj’s status as a center of business success and excellence.
