At the Faculty of Economics in Brčko on 6 and 7 November, within the Ninth International Conference

Within the two-day final conference of the Dualsci project, attended by members of the Project Steering
Committee, representatives of the Universities of Novi Sad, Mostar, Zenica, Sarajevo, East Sarajevo,
DHBW Heilbronn Germany, FH Joanneum Austria, WUS Austria and IMH Campus Spain, as well as representatives of the relevant ministries of education of both entities, with the presence of representatives of the Chamber of Economy of FBiH, the project results were summarized and the dynamics of preparing the final reports for its completion were agreed.

The DUALSCI project fully achieved the goals set by the Project.

The Dean of the Faculty of Economics in Brčko, Prof. Dr. Srđan Lalić, said that he hopes that the work at this conference will influence the introduction of dual education programs and short-cycle studies into the education system of the district.

Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics in Subotica, Nemanja Berber, stated that dual education implies the active involvement of the economy in higher education, i.e. practical work of students.
“They study while working and in this way the employer can already see what competencies are being acquired,” explained Professor Berber, noting that in BiH, with the aim of improving higher education, “Erasmus” projects “Partish” and “Dualsci” are being implemented in accordance with the decisions of the European Commission.
