The Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a member of the consortium, after a successful application and signed Grant Agreement financed by the European Union for the Project 1Future – Associated for Sustainability – building communities resilient to climate change in the Western Balkans, attended the first working meeting of the Project Steering Committee in Tirana from 03 to 04 May 2023.
The 1FUTURE project aims to improve regional capacities in implementing Green Deal goals in the higher education system. The 1Future project builds on the need and ambition to lead climate action in higher education institutions in the Western Balkans region. Within the project, higher education institutions in the region will serve as a mechanism connecting different stakeholders for building communities resilient to climate change.
The first working meeting of the members of the Project Steering Committee – 1FUTURE was preceded by an online working meeting of the Consortium members held on 23.03.2023.
After the presentations by the Consortium members, the project management team introduced the partners to the task and work plan for the first project period. New reporting rules, the Partnership Agreement, as the main objectives of the Project, as well as the timeframe for its preparation and signing, were discussed.
