Tool developed for self-assessment of circularity and circular maturity of companies

In today’s dynamic business environment, the circular economy is becoming key to achieving
long-term success in the private sector. In the previous period, the United Nations Development
Programme (UNDP BiH), in cooperation with the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, worked on developing
a unique, comprehensive tool through which companies can assess their circularity and
circular maturity.

After completing the questionnaire, which takes about 30 minutes, companies receive a comprehensive report on
the current level of circular practices, as well as a series of tailored recommendations for optimizing operations. Through
this report, companies are enabled to:

 Identify key areas for improving sustainability within the business,

 Discover untapped opportunities for growth and innovation,

 Access a tailored set of recommendations to guide the business toward a more sustainable
future.

Participation in this assessment will not only benefit the company, but will also contribute to the broader goal of
promoting sustainability and resilience within the business community. The results obtained from the analysis
of this questionnaire will also serve as a basis for potential technical and financial assistance
from UNDP for enterprises committed to integrating the principles of the circular economy.

We invite all companies to register on the website zelenatranzicija.ba and access this important
questionnaire, and take the first step toward more sustainable business. Access is available via the link.

The tool was developed within the program “Translating the Framework for the Implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals in BiH into
sustainable and inclusive growth (SDG2BiH)”, funded by Sweden and implemented by UNDP in partnership with
UNICEF and UN Women, within the overall United Nations program aimed at providing
support to the authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in coordination with the Office of the Resident Coordinator of the UN in
BiH. The content of this web platform does not necessarily reflect the views of UNDP in BiH.
