Businesspeople from Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in the International Energy and Environment Fair – ICCI 2025, Istanbul, Turkey 24–26 April 2025

The Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a partner of the ICCI 2025 fair and organizer of the participation of BiH companies, successfully carried out a visit to the 29th International Energy and Environment Fair – ICCI 2025, which is being held from 24 to 26 April 2025 at the Istanbul Fair Center, Istanbul, Turkey.

The ICCI fair is a leading regional event in the field of energy, and this year’s edition brought together hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors from more than 50 countries around the world, providing a platform for the exchange of knowledge, innovation and the establishment of business cooperation. During the fair, selected BiH companies from the sectors of energy, renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, equipment production and environmental technologies were presented.

Participants had the opportunity to present their products, services and innovative solutions and take part in B2B meetings with potential partners from Turkey, the EU, the Middle East and Central Asia.

Representatives of the companies made numerous contacts with the aim of future business cooperation, exports and joint projects in the field of green energy, digitalization and smart infrastructure.

Under the motto “Powering the Future”, this year’s ICCI fair and accompanying conference focused on key topics of the energy transition:

  • Production of electricity from renewable sources,
  • Decarbonization and climate goals,
  • Energy efficiency and supply security,
  • Digitalization and smart grids,
  • Energy storage and integration of hydrogen and
  • E-mobility and green technologies.

Participants attended numerous panels and round tables, where the latest global trends and technologies shaping the energy future were presented. The participation of BiH companies at ICCI 2025 was assessed as very successful, both in terms of promoting domestic industry and in terms of opening new market opportunities.

In the coming period, it is recommended to continue participation in international fairs through organized collective appearances, which would enable a stronger presence of BiH companies on the global market. It is also important to increase the promotion of the domestic energy sector within regional and European initiatives, as well as to provide additional support to companies through preparatory activities such as workshops and training. Special focus should be placed on monitoring and realizing the business contacts made during the fair, in order to maximize the benefit and ensure long-term cooperation with international partners.
