Intensifying cooperation in future projects was the topic of today’s meeting between Director Samir Numanović and Vice President of the Chamber of Economy/Commerce of the Federation of BiH Mirsad Jašarspahić, which was held in Sarajevo.
The key topic of the discussion concerned improving the business environment and support for women entrepreneurs, and it was concluded that the main obstacles faced by women entrepreneurs are: limited access to finance, lack of institutional support, an unfavorable business environment and the absence of coordinated policies.
It was also praised that there is a positive trend in the growing interest of institutions and banks in supporting women entrepreneurship and recognizing the gender perspective in the labor market.
“Bosnian society is still deeply patriarchal. Through the great engagement of competent institutions and associations dealing with gender equality, we must continue to exert pressure to ensure greater representation of women in political and business life,” concluded Director Numanović and Vice President Jašarspahić.
