Today, in the capital of the People’s Republic of China, Beijing, within the forum “China-Europe Hidden Champions”, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with DEZ Deutsch-Europäisches Zentrum für KMUs in China, the Senate for the Economy of Europe, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Bulgaria, the Ministry of Agriculture of Moldova, the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Federal Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises of Germany (BVMW), and the Israeli-Asian Chamber of Commerce.
“This agreement represents a significant step toward strengthening regional and international cooperation and opens the door to joint initiatives that will bring concrete benefits to all involved parties. I am convinced that this is the beginning of long-term and substantive cooperation aimed at business development, knowledge exchange, and opening new opportunities,” said Armin Hodžić, Director of the Energy Sector of the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of BiH.
Ahead of the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between relevant institutions from several European and Asian countries, the Minister of Economy of Tuzla Canton addressed those present. On that occasion, he presented the economic potential, development opportunities, and strategic directions for further strengthening the competitiveness of the economy not only of Tuzla Canton, but also of the Federation of BiH and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Minister Duraković particularly emphasized the importance of international networking and openness to cooperation, and invited all present representatives of institutions, organizations, and the business community to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina in the period from 10 to 13 September 2025 and take an active part in the regional fair ZEPS 2025 in Zenica. The fair represents one of the key platforms for promoting investments, presenting innovations, and connecting business actors from the entire region and beyond.
