ASSOCIATION OF COMMUNAL ECONOMY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION OF THE FEDERATION OF BiH ESTABLISHED

The Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina held yesterday the Founding Assembly of the Association of коммунal Economy and Environmental Protection, at which the president, vice president and leadership of the Association were elected for a four-year term, and the Rules of Procedure for its organization and work were adopted.

Mirsad Jašarspahić, President of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, addressed those present. In his address, he emphasized the importance of forming the Association within the Chamber, because communal companies and the Chamber can, through joint action, fight for the creation of a more favorable business environment.

Mr. Nijaz Salamović, KJKP Rad Sarajevo, was elected President of the Association, while Mr. Ajdin Mehmedović, JKP Sapna, was elected Vice President.

“Communal companies are mostly in financial, material and personnel problems. I hope that the formation of this association will institutionally help companies through professional seminars, training, proposals for legal solutions, harmonization and improvement of regulations and the adoption of good practices. Communal companies employ the most workers, at least that is the case in Sarajevo Canton, and I come from the communal company Rad which has more than a thousand employees and is the largest communal company in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Salamović added.

In the coming period, Mr. Samir Memić, JKP Standard Konjic, will be the President of the Assembly, and Ms. Belma Zukić, JKP Vodostan Ilijaš, will be the Vice President. The Association Board consists of seven representatives of communal companies: Nijaz Salamović, KJKP RAD; Ajdin Mehmedović, JKP Sapna; JP Komunalno Mostar; Almir Hadžialić, JKP Visoko; Adis Bešlić, KJKP Park; Sejfo Ušanović, Toplane Sarajevo; Mehmed Mehović, KJKP Sarajevogas.
