At the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKÖ), from 9 to 11 October 2024, the “Machinery Forum Vienna 2024” was held, bringing together experts, entrepreneurs, and researchers from the fields of mechanical engineering, construction of production facilities, and the metal industry in general.
Through specialized sessions, forum participants had the opportunity to learn all the latest news from the field of mechanical engineering, with special emphasis on the topics:

Industrial artificial intelligence and augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) AR/VR

The interest and importance of the event for companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina is best evidenced by the presence of 28 participants from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the active participation of the Chambers of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Republika Srpska as partners. The President of the Chamber of Economy, Mirsad Jašarspahić, emphasized that he is extremely satisfied with the proactive participation of Bosnian-Herzegovinian companies, which showed a high level of understanding and readiness for their own changes in the focus on sustainability, automation, and new technologies in their own production processes. The representative of the WKO office in Sarajevo and the operational organizer of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian delegation, Mr. Damir Dervišefendić, is also satisfied with the participation of our representatives at this year’s forum.
