THE 1 FUTURE PROJECT MANAGEMENT HELD WORKING MEETINGS AT THE CEPS CENTER FOR ADVANCED STUDIES KISELJAK

In the period from 04–06 November 2024, the Center for Advanced Studies CEPS in Kiseljak, within the Project “jOiNEd For sUsTainability – bUilding climate REsilient communities in WB and EU – 1FUTURE”, hosted working meetings of the Project Steering Committee, in which, on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of BiH, Emir Pašić, Head of the Center for International Cooperation and EU Funds, participated.

The 1Future project aims to support higher education institutions in the Western Balkans in building capacities in the areas of sustainability, resilience and climate action.

During the visit, working meetings were held to discuss the project implementation dynamics, along with a presentation of the curriculum review. The final form was discussed. A working group was formed to prepare training materials and develop dedicated intensive short training courses.

A new digital platform was presented, through which all project members will interactively contribute to its dissemination and promotion.

The organization of the project-planned Symposium, the publication of the third issue of the project News, and periodic financial reports were also discussed.

In March this year, CEPS officially opened the “Knowledge Center for Climate and Sustainability (KHCS)”, financed by the 1Future project. This marked the signing of a protocol on business and technical cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, fulfilling another mission of this project, which relates to connecting local and regional scientific, educational and business organizations that are partners in the 1Future project..
