The Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of BiH and the cantonal chambers of commerce of the Una-Sana, Tuzla and Zenica-Doboj cantons, organized five Info Days across the Federation of BiH, dedicated to presenting the Public Call for the allocation of grant funds from current and capital transfers for 2026.
The aim of the Info Days was to provide potential beneficiaries with detailed information about the conditions, criteria and application procedures, as well as to offer the opportunity to ask questions to representatives of the Ministry. The events were attended by numerous entrepreneurs, craftsmen and representatives of local self-government units, which enabled direct communication and clarification of all important elements of the call.
Info Days were held: in Mostar on 23.02.2026 at the Chamber of Economy of FBiH, in Bihać on 24.02.2026 at the Chamber of Commerce of USK, in Tuzla on 25.02.2026 at the Cantonal Chamber of Commerce Tuzla, in Zenica on 26.02.2026 at the Chamber of Commerce of Zenica-Doboj Canton and in Sarajevo on 27.02.2026 at the Chamber of Economy of FBiH.
The total amount of funds provided by the call is 28 million KM and is distributed through five key projects:
- Construction of entrepreneurial zones – 5,000,000 KM, intended for local self-government units for the construction and improvement of infrastructure in entrepreneurial zones.
- Improvement of institutional entrepreneurial infrastructure – 400,000 KM, for the development and strengthening of business support systems and technology-entrepreneurship centers.
- Strengthening the competitiveness of SMEs – 20,000,000 KM, for technological modernization, expansion of production capacities, introduction of quality standards and encouragement of innovation among small and medium-sized enterprises.
- Incentives for the development of crafts and related activities – 1,000,000 KM, for the procurement of equipment and modernization of craftsmen’s operations.
- Incentives for newly established small business entities – 1,000,000 KM, for supporting young and new entrepreneurs in the procurement of equipment and provision of mentoring services.
Assistant Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts Adis Fajić stated that the creation of incentive programs on an annual basis is always based on an analysis of the development status of the sector in the previous year and trends in the past period, and emphasized that this public call represents one of the most important support programs for the development of small business in the Federation of BiH.
The President of the Chamber of Economy of FBiH, Mirsad Jašarspahić, emphasized the importance of these programs for economic development, increased competitiveness and employment, as well as the promotion of entrepreneurial activity at the local level.
“This year we prepared a comprehensive support program for small and medium-sized enterprises, crafts and newly established entities. At the Info Days we had the opportunity to inform entrepreneurs firsthand about the procedures, conditions and maximum amounts of grant funds, so that applications would be as high-quality as possible and in line with the rules of the call,” said Nevzet Sefo, expert advisor in the Ministry.
All interested beneficiaries can submit project applications via the online platform https://javnipozivi.fmrpo.gov.ba. The final deadline for application is 11.03.2026 at 17:00. Project applications submitted by mail will not be considered.
