On 13.02.2026, the 29th International Economy, Crafts and Agriculture Fair VIROEXPO 2026 was ceremonially opened in Virovitica.
During its three-day duration, the fair will present 560 exhibitors from 9 European countries to visitors and business people.
This year’s partner country is the Netherlands, and the partner county is Požega-Slavonia County.
The fair was ceremonially opened by the Minister of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. David Vlajčić, who was also the special envoy of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Mr. Andrej Plenković.
As every year so far, since the first Viroexpo fair, the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina also took part.
At this year’s exhibition space of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, visitors could see products and services from all branches of industry, from plastics and metal processing, food production, wine producers, and the tourism offer of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Chamber of the Federation appeared with a total of 28 exhibitors, and this year is special because one of the exhibitors at the exhibition space of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was also a company from the Republic of Croatia engaged in vessel production.
Namely, the owner and initiator of production of the company Sidrotec d.o.o. is a businessman from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and production is located in Pakrac near Virovitica.
It is important to note that at the VIROEXPO fair, a product of this kind is appearing for the first time, which attracted great attention from exhibitors and visitors thanks to the engagement of the management and employees of the Chamber of Economy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The fair organizers expect this year’s attendance to be around 40,000 visitors, which shows that the VIROEXPO fair is growing year by year and attracting more and more visitors, if not one of the largest in the Republic of Croatia.
